I was wondering how could I limit it so they couldn't bring up any hyper competition thanks.

You can't "limit" someone persay. They other debater is allowed to bring up whatever they want to bring up. Your job is just to rebut it. As long as you have a solid rebutal for hyper-competition examples, it shouldn't be a problem.

You can effectively limit competition through your criterion. Let's say your criterion is morality. This means that any means used must be moral (or else they don't fall within your value/value-criterion set). So if hyper-competition is immoral, it is gone. Since it cannot link through your case, you can effectively discard it.

It will partly depend on your value and how you are intending to achieve it. But morality is a good stock one.
